RFO: Summary
On March 27, 2025, services hosted at our Calgary location experienced an outage. The issue has since been fully resolved and all services are back online.
**Root Cause**
The outage was caused by a router failure that resulted in the loss of the router's configuration of our network upstream provider. This disrupted connectivity for all servers and services at the location.
**Impact**
All services hosted at the Calgary location were unavailable for the duration of the outage.
**Resolution**
The router configuration was restored by our upstream provider, returning all services to normal operation.
**Next Steps**
We have escalated this incident to our upstream network provider. We have formally requested a root cause analysis, an explanation of why no additional redundancy was in place, and a clear remediation plan to prevent future recurrences.
